Holiday Party Highlights featuring Bonnie Hayes
This holiday party and in-store concert was such a special event, possibly the best yet in Famous4 history. Bonnie Hayes and her band were so amazing, as was the company we kept that night and the sweets we gobbled down from Beth’s Community Kitchen.

Famous4 is a mens and womens clothing store located at 96 Throckmorton Avenue in The Heart of Mill Valley, California. Originally dubbed “Famous For Our Look” when it first opened on East Blithedale in the late ’80s, Famous4 is now synonymous with its notorious proprietor, local music promoter, event planner, and philanthropist, Larry “The Hat” Lautzker.
Larry, or “The Hat”, as his oldest friends call him, has dressed some of Bay Area’s most famous personalities in music, film, and television and is always on the cutting edge of sartorial technology and electric forms of transportation. When he isn’t dressing his loyal clients at Famous4, Larry is constantly working with local talent and venues to ensure Famous4 in Mill Valley remains a magical hub of unbridled creativity and superior invention.
Famous4 carries only the finest, hippest lines for those who constantly strive to express their unique selves through colorful clothing and funky accessories. Sure. they’ve got the basics, too. But at Famous4 the most interesting looks of the season – every season – are those by designers like Yoanna Baraschi, Zelda, Desigual, or Le Phare de la Baleine for women, and Alberto, Haupt, True Grit, 7Diamond, Jhane Barnes, and Jack Victor for men.
Nestled in a tree-filled valley between the Marin Headlands and Mount Tamalpais, Mill Valley, home of the Dipsea Race, is the center of such reputable events as the Mill Valley Film Festival, the Mill Valley Block Party, and the summertime parades, which feature Famous4′s very own Fashion Police. This fierce group of fashionistas and well dressed gents have a local reputation for writing citations for fashion violations like “Bad Banana Khaki Karma” and “Loitering with Clothes On”.
